[The efficiency of application of plant aromatic substances in animal husbandry]

The productivity of milking cows can be increaed by 8,0...10,0%; fat and protein content - by 0,12 and 0,05...0,1% correspondingly. Such an increase is gained by the use of aromatic additives in the amount of 50 grams per head daily. Aromatic additives increase dry substances content as well as the amount of lactose, calcium and phosphorus in milk. Its physical and chemical properties are thus greatly improved as veil as its technological qualities. The avererage daily weight gain of young cattle can be increased by 9 and 19,1% by the use of aromatic additives in the amount of 25 and 50 grass per head correspondingly. The slaughter output can be increased by 3,2%. The addtives improve chemical composition of meat, its technological and organoleptical properties and reduces the amount of feed per unit of output
