Due to increasing pollution of the environment, undesirable matters may be absorbed by oilcrops and get into the oils, e.g., the final products of vegetable oil industry. The content of copper, iron, and various organochlorinated insecticides in samples of 13 edible refined sunflower oils produced by different factories and refined by conventional or physical processing are presented. All samples were taken from products being on the market.
