[Analysis of production function of flooded rice in Kulawi, Central Sulawesi Province (Indonesia)]

anglais. Development of flooded rice farming is one of the potential farm effort for the farmers in Gimpu village, Kulawi subdistrict, Central Sulawesi province. Productivity level of flooded rice was relatively low, only 2.9 ton/ha, lower than regional productivity level. It is supposed that use of production factors in rice farming has not been optimal yet. The objective of this research was to know the production function in relation with use of factors influencing rice yield e.g.: land area, labour, urea fertilizer, SP-36, KCl, herbicide, pesticide, varieties and irrigation position. Analysis of Cobb Douglas production function to 40 farmers in Gimpu village revealed that land area, urea, SP-36 and Memberamo varieties significantly influenced rice production. Other variables were still less influenced due to quality (especially labour) and quantity of production factors alocation per farm unit area were still low. Field position against technical and non technical irrigation did not influence production because rice field with non technical irrigation generally still have enough water supply

indonésien. Pengembangan usahatani padi sawah merupakan salah satu usaha pertanian yang cukup diandalkan oleh masyarakat tani di Desa Gimpu, Kecamatan Kulawi, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah. Tingkat produktivitas padi sawah yang dicapai masih relatif rendah yaitu hanya 2,9 ton/ha, jauh di bawah rata-rata produktivitas padi sawah regional Sulawesi Tengah. Diduga bahwa penggunaan faktor-faktor produksi dalam usaha ini belum optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fungsi produksi dalam hubungannya dengan penggunaan faktor-faktor yang diduga berpengaruh terhadap produksi padi sawah yaitu: luas lahan, curahan tenaga kerja, pupuk urea, pupuk SP-36, pupuk KCl, herbisida, pestisida, varietas serta letak usahatani pada saluran irigasi. Melalui analisis fungsi produksi Cobb Douglas dari 40 petani responden di Desa Gimpu diperoleh faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh nyata positif terhadap produksi padi sawah yaitu luas lahan, pupuk urea, pupuk SP-36 dan penggunaan varietas Memberamo. Variabel lainnya masih kecil pengaruhnya terhadap produksi diduga disebabkan kualitas (khususnya tenaga kerja) dan kuantitas pengalokasian faktor produksi tersebut persatuan areal unit usahatani relatif masih rendah. Letak lahan usahatani terhadap saluran irigasi teknis dan non irigasi teknis hampir tidak ada pengaruhnya terhadap produksi oleh karena usahatani padi sawah non irigasi teknis umumnya masih tersedia air yang cukup
