Field experiments were conducted during winter (rabl) season of 1992-93 and 1993-94 at the research farm of Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi to study the eff&9t of blending of urea with dicyandiamide (DCD) on mustard varieties. Sigfflficantly vigorous growth and higher seed and stover yields were recorded with variety 'Pusa Bold' compared with 'Bio 902'. The growth and yield attributes of mustard increased significantly with each successive increased level of N. Blending of urea with 10% DCD-N proved superior to unble'nded urea or that blended with higher amounts of DCD (15% DCD-N) for seed yield and its attributes.
