Screening of local upland rice cultivars of Assam against sheath blight

Sixty local upland rice cultivars of Assam were screened against sheath blight. Only one cultivar i.e. Chingdar was found to be resistant. Seven rice cultivars, As 92-1, Mairan, N-22, Panjasali, Up-52, Upland-2 and 1/69-70 were found to be moderate resistant and rest were found to be susceptible to sheath blight.
