Macro environment and strategic reorientation in companies of Latgale region

The article investigates the mutual relationship between the changes of inner or regional and outer macro environment and changes of regional business strategy. The article also reflects the investigation results of business sector in Latgale. Investigation, analyses and estimation of environment structural features (especially in the inner and outer macro environment) helps to find the most appropriate kind of strategy for business activities, to stress the long-time possibilities of the business activities and business competitiveness of each region. It is necessary to change the existing enterprises of Latgale, to make the new ones, to promote the innovative activities and to increase the number of exporting enterprises.
