Telecommunications are one of the prior branches of the state, the level of development of which determines the economics and social development of the state. The telecommunication sector of the state develops dynamically, both the fixed and mobile telephone connection services offered. Telecommunication situation in Latvia and its regions is analyzed by the authors of this paper. The development of the situation in future and estimation of fixed telecommunication compared with mobile communications is predicted by using regression analysis.
