Use of iodine water and phytogenic preparations and their influence on the growth of broiler chickens are analysed in this article. The active component of phytogenic preparations is an herbal formula consisting of phytobiotics and polyfructosans. All active substances in this preparation are of plant origin, which do not cause antibiotic resistance and do not leave residues in animal products. The results of the study showed that under the influence of Digestarom-1317 growth of broilers chickens intensified. At the age of 42 weeks live weight of the chickens of the 4th test group was 2.23-2.67 kg or 6.55-16.6% more compared to the control group. An average day weight of broiler chickens at all periods of age was higher compared to the control group, and at the age of 42 days this index was 58.46 g 0r 12.01% more. Iodine in poultry organisms is digestible most effectively when drinking water is enriched with iodine and a fluid vegetable preparation Biomin P.E.P.-1000, which positively influences use of feed as well as growth of poultry.
