Status and reef structure, and number and species compositions of coral reef fishes around Man Islands, Rayong Province were investigated in December, 1991. The standard methods of benthic lifeform transects, shore profile transects and visual fish census were used at 7 study sites. The best coral reef status was at Hin Farang Beach, while the poorest was at the east of Man Nai Island. In general, the coral reef structure was well developed not far from shore and the reefs were about 200 m in width. For fish census, 48 species in 30 genera and 19 families of coral reef fishes were found. The Pomacentridae and Labridae families were the highest in species and number. Coral reef fish was most abundance in Hin Farang and the west of Man Nai Island.
