[Disbacteriosis of gastrointestinal tract of neonatal calves, methods of correction and prophylaxis thereof]

During the research, neonatal calves with gastrointestinal disorders are studied with the aim to investigate digestive system disbacteriosis and develop methods of prophylaxis and correction thereof. As a result, polyetiological nature of gastrointestinal diseases of neonatal calves is determined, disbacteriosis nature being specified as well. The dynamics of qualitative and quantitative changes in microbial flora is characterized. A classification of disbacteriosis stages is given. "Baktonorm", a probiotic of a new generation, is formulated, biological features of the component cultures being studied. An integrated method is developed and implemented to control digestive system diseases of neonatal calves using the probiotic "Baktonorm", glutasol and immunomodulator. A possibility is determined to serologically identify Enterobacteriaceae representatives using the hyper-immune sera proposed
