2003
Tkach, V.N., | Dvoretskaya, I.M.
A steady increase in the rate of the mutation process in many components of the environment is observed to take place under conditions of the tense ecological and genetic situation. Chemical, biological, radiation and other types of physical pollution creates a threat of the genetic transformation under the pressure of mutagens and selection of such forms of microorganisms, which human immune systems are not adapted to yet. The issue of the threat of increasing in the rate of the mutation process is considered. Discussed is the necessity to form the corresponding ecological mental outlook, which will allow lowering the mutagen pressure on human genetic health. "A group of risk" is formed of the persons suffering because of the diseases accompanied with increased mutation (inherited, autoimmune, infectious diseases), and also of the persons, which are subject to permanent or periodical effect of mutagens of medicinal, industrial, radiation or other origin
