[Influence of the environmental quality in Ukraine on population health]

The state of Ukraine's population health is considered as one of the evident criteria of the country's ecological state. The analysis of the demographic data showed that since 1991 the Ukrainian nation is practically dying and this phenomenon is caused by the social-economic and crisis ecological state of this country. Defined are the following main reasons: deterioration of the quality of the population habitat which took place as a result of industrialization and urbanization of way of life thereof; depleting the existing traditional energy and raw material resources; increasing in population loads on the nature; breaking the natural ecological balance; economic elimination of separate animal and plant species; negative genetic consequences of nature pollution with wastes of industrial activities. Shown are the lines, according to which analyzed are the influence of the quality of the environment on the state of the population health; demographic processes and migration of population, dynamics of morbidity etc. A conclusion is drawn that to improve Ukraine's population health creating the strict system of ecosafety of the human habitat is to become the necessary base
