Factors influencing milk production of dairy cattle raisers in Bangkok

This research was undertaken to investigate some factors influencing milk production of daily cattle raisers in Bangkok which attempted to develop some equation for prediction of their milk production. Findings revealed that, among the Demographic and Socio-economic factors, number of daily cattle and daily cattle farming experiences were significant predictions of milk production for the amount of 31.69 percent. Of the agricultural communication factors, contacted with change agent and mass media exposured could be predicted for 14.30 percent. Among the factor of knowledge on daily cattle raising in terms of nutritional management, knowledge on feeding management variable and knowledge on feed and feeding system were predictors of milk production for 18.39 percent. Of the knowledge on breeding and herd management factor, knowledge on breeding management and knowledge on daily herd management practices could be predicted milk production for 9.08 percent.
