[Somaclonal variability of strawberry: state and outlooks of researches]

Opportunities of somaclonal variability used in the breeding work with small fruit crops were studied. The data of the literature on the somaclonal variability nature were presented, its importance for the biodivercity increasing was shown. The methods of increasing of somaclonal variability frequency were considered. The technique of plants-regenerants obtaining from the isolated tissues was optimised. The results of the somaclonal variability study of received plants generative organs were presented (productivity, size of berries, number of inflorescence stems, number of berries per plant, sepal colouring etc.) were presented. The somaclonal variation maintenance in the second vegetative generation was marked
