A mineral-raw material potential of Montenegro includes 23 types of mineral-raw materials with the proved or estimated economic value. This paper gives a brief description of metallic, non-metallic and energy raw materials, together with their reserves and quality, of ground and mineral water resources as well as of technogenous raw material reserves. A general review of the status of technical and technological conditions for exploitation and mineral raw materials processing in Montenegro is generally presented, along with environmental aspect of their usage. The problem of ownership is also discussed.
