In a grapevine plantations established on highly skeleton, carbonate brown soil. poorly provided with available potassium and phosphorus, the effect of various doses of potassium (K120, K190 and K260) on the quantity and quality of grapes and the content of mineral substances in the leaf, was studied. A positive and highly significant correlation between the grape yield per grapevine and potassium content in the vine leaf was recorded. Negative correlation was found between potassium and magnesium content in the leaf. Dependence of phosphorus and calcium content, on potassium content was positive and medium, while connection between nitrogen and potassium is negative and very poor.
