Pre-treatment of seeds of Terminalia ivorensis.

The purpose of this experiment was to test the effect of an extended day-length together with the soaking and drying pre-treatment on the seeds of Terminalia ivorensis. The extended day-length (which is combined with a high constant temperature) stimulated germination in all but one seed lot. The reaction was slightly more pronounced for the cleared seeds. The alternate soaking and drying had no beneficial effect.
