anglais. Recently, the role of calcium in plant physiology and some physiological diseases related to calcium deficiency have been reffered to more often. Low calcium content of the soil is rarely the cause of the disease; much more often occurs the so called relative calcium deficiency: the plants are unable to utilize the calcium content of the soil because of environmental conditions.
