The profitability of pepper on rockwool in family farms
2004
Tompos, D.
Most pepper growing farms in Hungary are run as a family business, their size varies between 1000 and 3000 m2. Due to their small size the profitability is heavily dependent on the technological level and the market itself. These farms often suffer from the lack of free capital, therefore they are not able to invest into further developments.
