Performance of yield quality of cocoa hybrid in Bali

A study on yield quality of some cocoa hybrids was conducted at Pakutatan district, Jembrana regency and BPTP Bali laboratory in 2002. Treatments were arranged in a Randomized Block Design with six cocoa hybrids as treatments and four replications. The observation variables were: (a) pod weight, (b) number of beans/pod, (c) bean dry weight, (d) outturn and (e) shell content. Result of 5 hybrids yield beans (average dry beans weight) of SCA 89 was 0.87 g and SCA 12 was 0.63 g. Outturn (rendement) of GC 7 was 29.0 percent and cocoa local was 25.69 percent
