Summary Some useful Carnation cultivars were selected for the long term cultivation with pruning and the relevance of planting the first year and the second year was examined regarding yield and quality. l. 'Excerea','Fauy Pink','Fluffy','ILightPinkBarbara' and Bosanska wereselectedasusefulculti"vars 2 . Significant correlation between planting the first year and the second year was observed m ylekL number of flower bud and stem strength. 3 . The yield in the first year was practical as a cntenon of selection of usefill cultivars for tworyear-harvesting of camatlon .
