This report gives the results obtained in the project which are the subject of a number of training workshops and seminars in which Kenyan and regional scientists from the Sudano-Sahelian region participate. This report is one of a series published by IPAL describing technical findings of the project and, where appropriate, giving management recommendations relating to the central problems of ecological degradation in the arid zone.
