Summary Using high-speed liquid chromatography, we analyzed the bitter taste ingredient the naringin content in the citrus and got the fixed relation about the content of fruits and a seedling leaf. It turned out that there is positive correlation (correlation coefficient 0.615***) between the naringin content contained in the fruits of polyembryonic cultivar, and the leaves of nucellar seedlings. Moreover, the regression of y=32.853 x+2.495 was obtained (naringin in y=fruit juice (mg 100 ml fruit juice), naringin in x=seedling leaf (mg/g leaf)). Measuring the naringin content contained in the seedling leaf six months after sowing, the naringin content of the fruits which will become fruitful in the future can be predicted.
