This paper assesses whether or not size and ownership of land influence farmers interest towards growing trees and adopting agroforestry technologies; identifies some policy interventions to improve the performance of the system; and defines the kind of technologies that would be capable of affecting the desired practicality of the interventions in a manner most appropriate to the land use system.
