The updated moss flora of Zambales Mountain Range in Western Luzon and Mt Arayat in Central Luzon is presented based on recent collections from Mt Natib and Mariveles Mountains in Bataan, High Peak (Mt Tapulao) in Zambales, and Mt Arayat in Pampanga. The collections which consists of 229 species in 106 genera and 34 families have yielded one new record for the country (Braunfelsia edentula (Mitt.) Wijk and Marg.) and numerous new records for the western and central parts of Luzon Island. A comparison of these four mountain moss floras show that they belong to a single bryofloristic unit, which is somewhat different from the moss flora of northern and southern Luzon (Bicol Region).
