A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of seedling height(4,6,8 and 10 cm), levels of potash (0,80,90,100 and 110 kg ha-1) and theirinteraction on Tomato at the Agricultural Research Station (North), Mingora,Swat, during summer 2002. Maximum survival percentage (73.54) and yield(19.31 tons ha-1) were recorded at 90 kg ha-1 level of potash. Maximumnumber of days to maturity (30.75) and flowering (37.58) were recorded at 110kg ha-1 level of potash. Seedling height significantly affected plant survivalpercentage (74.83), number of days to maturity (30.53), number of days toflowering (37.27) and yield (19.72 ton ha-1) at 10 cm seedling height. Whileminimum of these parameters were recorded at 4 cm seedling height.
