Herbaceous plants in cereal phytocenoses in the vicinity of Mszana Dolna - the Beskid Wyspowy Mountains (Poland)

The article presents the herb flora accompanying cereal crops on some selected field expanse at Slomka and Lostowka crop fields near Mszana Dolna in the Beskid Wyspowy Mts. The results were based on 140 phytosociological records taken by means of the Braun-Blanquet method in 1994-95. The list of herb species found in the investigated area included 76 vascular plants (50.3 percent of total number of species). The majority of species providing the source of herb materials were the native plants - apophytes (74 percent of all herb plants found. They invade the fields mainly from meadow habitats, forest communities, felling sities and wet habitats
