Montserrat Unit: Annual Report 1989/90

This Report is intended more for the general reader than for the technical specialist. It therefore seeks to be comprehensive in its coverage of CARDI's work in Montserrat, without being exhaustive. The first section deals with root crops particularly the white potato. Tree crop activities is next followed by a brief section on vegetables which focuses on pest control in cabbage. The next section on farm development includes factors affecting crop loss for the period of the Report. Other activities dealt with are seed production and technical assistance ad training. Finally the work programme for 1990/91 is presented.
