Study on influence of ethylene absorbent and flow rate of O2:CO2 on quality and storage life of okra, the products were stored at 10-12 deg C. The result showed that fresh weight loss and fiber content of okra slightly increased corresponding to storaged increased. After 42 days storage okra stored in EA 7 percent+O2:CO2 5:7 PSI gave the most fresh weight loss 5.11 percent and significantly difference to okra which gave the least and stored in EA 5 percent+O2:CO2 7:10 PSI with 2.63 percent. TSS and fiber content of okra before storage had a mean of 5.38-6.30 brix and 0.15-0.25 percent respectively. On 42 days storage the TSS and fiber content gave a mean of 3.83-5.00 brix and 1.00-1.83 percent respectively. Internal quality such a color of pulp and seed comparable to fresh commodity. Okra stored in PE+EA 0-9 percent (by fresh weight)+O2:CO2 0:0-7:10 PSI had a storage life greater than 42 days and made to value of oversea transportation.
