Study on application of suprefact to Pla Duk Ui, Clarias macrocephalus, albino

Apllication of Suprefact (LHRHa) to Pla Duk Ui, albino were conducted to study the possibility of reusing the spawners for artificial breeding. The concentration of 10, 20 and 30 mcg/kg fish of Suprefact were injected to the spawners of two different sizes. In both experiments, it was found that the higher concentrations the shorter spawning times. In the second experiment, all the striping rates decreased. Although the highest striping rates were found at the concentration of 30 mcg/kg fish, but the lowest hatching rates occured. After 60 days of the first spawning, the ovarian rematuration were observed and the spawners were ready for artificial breeding again.
