Study on local guava varieties for juice production

Study on local guava varieties for juice production was conducted in Sakon-nakon agricultural research and training center, 120 local lines were collected in collection plot. Guava fruits form 60 lines were analysed on chemical, physical and sensory for guava juice production. Three local lines number 087, 025 and 010 have proper qualities to develop to be the guava juice line for pink fresh, good order and high vitamin C content of 392.11 mg/100 g, 218.78 mg/100 g, 369.74 mg/100 g. Further study on cultivation should be studied for higher yield and better physical qualities.
