Short course training needs of farmers in Chumko village, Paute country

This research was undertaken to investigate the agricultural training needs of farmers in Tambol Chumko, Pathew District, Chumporn Province which attempted to draw a holistic view of planning/managing the training administration program of Chumporn Campus, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. Findings revealed that the respondents perceived the training needs which classified by their weighted mean scores as follows : 1) agri-business 2) agricultural farm machinery 3) plant production 4) livestock 5) agro-industry and 6) fishery, respectively. On the aspect of training program management and administration, such training program should be conducted for the period of 1-3 days only specially in the months of March and April.
