The aim of the research is to trace out the influence of diets with three levels of un-defatted cotton seed and reduced protein content on some biometrical and biochemical parameters in one-summer old carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) Upon reducing the level of crude protein in the diets from 29 to 23%, decreasing of the contents of the total protein in blood serum with 18.3% and of the relative share of proteins in carp's body from 3 to 7% is noticed. At the above protein levels the fish had a good resistance. As far as the analyzed fish are concerned modifications in colour and consistency of liver have not been registered.
