Research results of storage protein polymorphism of seeds (prolamines of secalotriticum and its parental forms) of rye of Verasen’ varieyy and triticale of L374-1 variety were presented. Basing on polymorphism according to gliadin spectra it was shown that the distinctive feature of S374-1 secalotriticum in comparison with triticale parental forms and other studied samples of secalotriticum was the loss or reprisal of genetic material of 1RS chromosomes of rye. Revelation of biotypes containing the material of 1DS chromosome in S374-1 permits to carry out the selection of genotypes with the improved baking properties. It was stated that the expression of storage protein of seeds-prolamines of secalotriticum S374-1 was similar to wheat. Proceeding of form-building process of secalotriticum S374-1 and consequently the beginnings of various biotypes some of which were close to wheat was analysed. The necessity of marker control both over the process of secaloticum creation and its further selection was stared
