Influence of the short-time heat shock on accumulation of small heat shock proteins with low and high molecular weights in stroma of chloroplasts of Pukhovchanka tetraploid winter rye seedlings at the stage of first true leaf in comparison with plastids of younger seedlings is analysed. Research results show that the most active accumulation of small and large heat shock proteins in chloroplasts is typical for the elder seedlings (six heat shock proteins in plastids of 168-hour germs against one heat shock protein in the chloroplasts of 72-hour germs). One of these heat shock proteins is able to migrate from the freely soluble plastid fraction into the fraction of sparingly soluble membranaceous proteins. Research results of seedlings of winter tetraploid rye on the observed phase of development prove the presence in stroma of chloroplasts and two large heat shock proteins with MM 48.2 and 88.4 kilojoule
