The population dynamics of aphids colonizing the shrubs of Cornus alba L.

Investigations were conducted on bushes Cornus alba L. on street and park sites. Their purpose was an establishment of specific structure and dynamics of a population of plant aphids living on these bushes. Presence of one kind of plant aphid-Anoecia corni (F.) was observed on the shrubs of Cornus alba L. The greatest number decay it was observed in the autumn in September or in the beginning of October depending on climatic conditions and an location of sites. Anoecia corni (F.) was the most numerous one. Temperatures of over 30C, stormy rainfalls and ground frosts in autumn reduced their number. Plant aphids considerably lowered the decorative effect of bushes causing deformations, discoloration and earlier falling
