Physical, chemical and microbiological properties of chernozem soil in conditions with and without irrigation

A comparative study of physical, chemical and microbiological properties of the chernozem soil under conditions with or without irrigation has been conducted at Rimski Sancevi experimental field on the soil type chernozem, subtype on loess and loess-like sediments, variant calcareous gleyed, form medium deep. The obtained results have shown that long-term irrigation changed the physical, chemical and microbiological properties of the analyzed soil.
