Milling quality of several wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) genotypes grown at different levels of nitrogen nutrition has been assessed on the basis of extraction percentage. Extraction percentage (milling quality) was determined on the basis of pilot milling in the MLU-202 Buehler Laboratory mill and indirectly, on the basis of the content of mineral elements (ash), vitreousness, test weight and 1000-kernel weight. The conventional extraction percentage of 55-70% of flour provided a realistic picture on milling quality of wheat grown at different levels of nitrogen nutrition.
