Technology plays a key role in today business and it shows the influence of different factors on the creation of a competitive advantage that a company has on the market, especially the influence of technological strategy. Technology is an important factor of a competative advantage only if it is an integral part of the operations of a company, if it contributes to the company achievement of business targets. Made within the company or acguired else where, technology gives positive results if it is part of the company assets together with production and marketing. That is why it is considered an important part of the assets. The company has to know how it is going to use the acquired technology as it is very often important for business success in the long run.
