Appraisal elements of agricultural machinery concerning reliability

Investigation of agricultural machinery reliability in practice means dealing with difficulties that outcome because of great number of elements that are observed. These elements usualy have quite different significance to system proper functioning also having different influence for system accuracy, principle work, repair, costs, etc. This is the main reason that it is recommended that all system elements should be ranged on certain way, so investigation can be focused at elements that have dominant influence on reliability for the entire system. On this way wanted results can be achieved on faster and more economical way. The paper presents critical analysis of existing methods for appraisal of elements within system that gives recommendation for choice of optimal one that can be applied to agricultural mechanization.
