Basic production parameters of broiler chickens fattening in Ross 308 hybrid

In this paper was analyzed and presented results of production, and aproposelly fattening of Ross 308 heavy line hybrid broiler chickens, fattened at Ran-Komerc, Obrez farm (Serbia), since age of 1 up to 43 days. Both sex broiler chickens average body weight, at the end of the fattening period was 2209.60 g (male 2396.60 g and female 2043.77 g). Highest daily body weight gain was achieved between 29 and 36 day of fattening period and it was over 80 g. Feed conversion ratio during the entire fattening period was 1.80 kg, while the mortality per insettled bird was 3.82%. The production index value was at the enviable level and it was 274.62.
