The possibility of biological and chemical control of Verticillium wilt at initial developmental stages of pepper
2006
Rekanovic, E.
The possibility of biological and chemical control of Verticillium species in pepper by biofungicide Polyversum (Pythium oligandrum), benomyl, and propamocarb-hydrochloride was studied. Benomyl was the most efficient fungicide at all developmental stages of pepper (the efficacy was 72.3-84.1%), while Polyversum was the most efficient when applied prior to inoculation (48.1-54.3%). The efficacy of propamocarb-hydrochloride was low in both application times, prior to or after inoculation (37.7-50.9%). The use of propamocarb-hydrochloride did not provide suffiecient verticillium wilt control in pepper, and there was little difference in the efficacy of Polyversum and propamocarb-hydrochloride.
