[Determination of lead content in species from genus Achillea L. in Toplice region [Serbia]]

Toplica region represents a special relief scatter geomorphological environment. Due to the remarkable altitude differences, there are many micro-climates. Climatic and land conditions and particularly convenient for different kinds of medicinal plants and, beside of others, for big number of species, genus Achillea L. Chemical structure, physiologically active compounds and entre quality do not depend only upon species-genotypes forms, but also upon ecological factors as well upon presence of polluted substance in them. Since the urban industrial environment in town of Prokuplje and surroundings has been exposed to different contaminants for many decades, it is necessary to do the analyses of some heavy metals in plants, genus Achillea L. in polluted and non-polluted (control) area.
