anglais. District heating are industrial plants which are more linked to saw mills than to forestry. The supplying of district heating is often committed to few suppliers which can monopolize the offer. Forest owners can play a very important role only if they can aggregate the offer too. This could be possible through co-operation. If they create co-operation, it would be possible to improve the product quality, to reduce the costs and to increase the profits through the storage management, which is a critical point of the supplying chain
