Study on similarity of sediment by cluster analysis

Si, Al, Cl, K, Ca, Ti, V, Ni Zn Fe Mn, and Co in sediments were analysed by X-ray fluorescence analysis. These samples were sediment that were collected from ponds or rivers to investigate head waters of water-works. The similality among sampling points was judged by cluster analysis of correlation number that was obtained from the concentration correlation matrix. In conclusion, the relation among sampling points in same pond showed high similarity. On Aichi and Souri ponds, the relation was same too.
