Import of agricultural products means importing soil and water from abroad. Worsening environmental problems on the Earth are creating much greater need for self-sufficiency of our agricultural produce, from the viewpoint of energy and environment. Who are the people supporting agricultural production in Japan, under the steep aging progress in Japanese society. At the present, about half of the workers in agricultural sector are women and also seniors over 65 years old. Encouraging these people to join positively in agricultural activity is one solution, taking advantage of agriculture with healing and multilateral functions. Agricultural production system with modern tractor is not considered to be acceptable for senior people and women because of the heaviness of the work. Thus, it will be one of the best solutions to make machinery and cultivating systems acceptable for these people and join agricultural activities in their living area. This will be one of the best ways to make a food traceable system, where we could know who the producer was and where the food was harvested. This could contribute to realizing a society, where we could have food with security.
