Analysis of the impact of others on household cooperative intention to collect household food waste

This study used a choice experiment to examine the factors that influence a household's cooperative intention to collect household food waste. A random parameters logit model was used for analyzing data gathered from 73 household. The results are as follows. The factors that affect the household's cooperative intention included the frequency of waste collections, how many neighbors are directed to share the same scrap heap, and the agreement rate of neighbors who share same scrap heap. It was confirmed that the evaluation to three conditions of collecting household food waste was different according to the attitude toward environmental concerning activities in consumption and the number of household members.
