Decorative plants are considered to be the most dynamically devolping sector of agriculture in Poland reaching back to about 30 years. The production of decorative plants has an increasing influence on national economy. There is a widening in the assortment of producer of cut flowers as well as balcony and flower bed plants. In the case of balcony and flower bed plants, in which we could specialize on the European scale, the production within which there is an increased demend for the newest technologies of seed improvement, protection against pathogens and the production of seed corn using ecological methods
