The study shows that along with the decrease of fractions diameters the total content of K in all investigated fractions increases. Also much higher total content of K in fractions of the brown leached soil developed from boulder loam than brown leached soil developed from old alluvial sediment has been observed. On the average separate fractions accumulate the following amounts of total K: sand (1-0.1 mm) 16.3 to 22.2 percent, silt (0.1-0.02 mm) 19.9 to 21.9 percent, fractions of silty clays (0.02-0.002 mm) 44.1 to 47.3 percent, and clay fraction (lower than 0.002 mm) 11.8 to 16.5 percent
