The main stakeholders and participants dealing with water resources issues are agriculture, domestic, industrial, water transport and hydro-power parents and beneficiaries. More than twenty years have been elapsed since the participatory management approaches have been considered. The progress has been gone gradually and smoothly. Participatory Water management in Egypt has been carried out in different ways and projects such as Irrigation Improvement Project (IIP), Fayoum province water Management Project, the Agriculture Policy Reform Program (APRP) approach, and Water Boards Project (WBP). It has been also encouraged through land drainage water management and ground water management. The Irrigation Advisory Services have been established in the Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation to provide the different services to the Water User Associations.
